If you are interested in accounting and business, enrolled in high school in Washington, and will be a sophomore, junior or senior next year, Seattle ACAP’s summer Residency Week program is for you! Applicants must be students of color, with priority given to those that are considered underrepresented in the accounting field: African American/Black, Hispanic/Latinx, and Native American.

Admission to ACAP is selective and competitive and you should put thought and care into your written short essay responses. When you are ready to apply, use the button above to access the online application. Applications are only accepted online. Thank you for applying!

*All accepted students and their parent or legal guardian will be required to sign a student code of conduct form, a release of liability, and an emergency medical treatment release form.

ACAP was a chance for me to explore new career options and take my college major seriously. Prior to my time at ACAP, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to study or what career I wanted to pursue. ACAP got me interested in business and from there I transitioned into marketing but I still received a basic knowledge of accounting. Had it not been for ACAP, I’m not sure where I would be today. Not only that, but I was surrounded by other students that had plans to attend college and big goals, none of which I had at the time. I was influenced by those around me.
